Las Vegas
This past weekend, Brad and I enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas with my two best friends, Kim & Molly and their husbands, Reese & Jason. It was tons of fun!!! We spent most of the time going in and out of all the hotels and looking at all the nice lobbies and casinos. It is just amazing at how nice some of these are. The first night we went to a Comedy Show and it was pretty funny. The second night we went to see the show LOVE by Cirque de Soleil. It was really good and something that you should see if you have never been to one of their shows. The last night we went to Downtown Las Vegas and toured around. The night life is certainly entertaining and I do not think that most people go to bed (but since we are all getting older, we had to have some sleep). On Saturday, we rented a car and drove to the Hoover Dam. It was something to see! I am not really into sightseeing but it was neat. We had a great time and it was really good to spend time with friends. If you have never been to Las Vegas it is something that you should do. There are many things that you have to ignore but it is really fun. I do not suggest taking your children :), but it is a nice long-weekend adventure. Thanks to my parents for keeping Brock so that we could go. Here are some pics from the trip. Enjoy!!

Where did you all stay? Did you like it? I'm always looking for good hotel recommendations :).

We stayed at the Luxor (the pyramid shaped one). It was nice but older than some of the other hotels. It was a good price for weekend rates. As far as losing money, we did not do as bad as we had planned but we did loose. (Brad said to tell you that he is Southern Baptist and they don't gamble...ha ha)

I heard the LOVE show was filled with lots of nudity and vulgar scenes. Shame on you. I'm embarrased for all of you. Hey Brad, did you get any of the "baseball cards" the Hispanics hand out on the street at night? They're always good for a laugh. I hope you you won enough for Brock's college fund. Heth
Too fun - love seeing the Vann's who I have not seen in forever! I would love to know what they're up to these days. Glad y'all had fun and I would have totally gone to see the Dam too! Ha!

Just so you know, LOVE is not the nude show it is called Zumanity. And they tried to give Brad the "baseball cards" many times but he was strong and refused them. He lost his money but not as much as I thought that he would. We will have to come up with another plan for Brock's college fund. We should plan and trip with you and Cindy out here sometime. Yes, I got it cut off! I love it much better. It was getting so long and so hot in the summer. Plus it is so thick that it needed to be chopped. Thanks for noticing!
